ReFix is the first Overdose Prevention Site in Atlantic Canada operating under an exemption pursuant to s. 56 (1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act in relation to an urgent public health need with the support of the Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre and Direction 180 (Halifax, NS). Our goal is to reduce opioid toxicity death and promote the health and well-being of people who use substances. ReFix has fostered a non-judgemental and supportive space for people to use substances under the supervision of trained people with living and lived experience.  

ReFix is located at the lower level of the Brunswick Street Mission, 2107 Brunswick Street in Halifax NS, operating six days per week, Monday to Saturday from 9:30am-2:30pm.
