ReFix is the first Overdose Prevention Site (OPS) in Atlantic Canada operating under an exemption pursuant to s. 56 (1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, in relation to an urgent public health need with the support of the Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre and Direction 180 (Halifax, NS).

The goal of ReFix is to reduce accidental drug poisoning and death while promoting the health and well-being of people who use substances. ReFix has fostered a non-judgmental and supportive space for people to use substances under the supervision of trained people with living and lived experience with substance use.  

ReFix is located at the lower level of 2151 Gottingen Street. The entrance is located on the side of the building on Nora Bernard Street.

ReFix is open Monday through Friday, from 8 AM - 5 PM.
